"THE FEMALE GAZE" was my second independent project, created in August 2023. The term "male gaze" refers to the perspective through which women are portrayed in media by male directors and photographers, often in a sexualized or infantilized manner. Together with the models, I explored what a "female gaze" could look like. The series was first exhibited at the "Trama" restaurant in Porto in the fall of 2023.
